Flex Legal

Flex Legal is an online platform that connects users to on-demand paralegals and lawyers.  Their social mobility initiative, Flex Trainee, helps legal teams contribute to organisational D&I, and opens the doors of the legal industry up to diverse aspiring solicitors from under-represented backgrounds.  

Flex Legal is home to more than 5,000 paralegals and 300 lawyers. All of their available legal professionals have been pre-screened to ensure the highest professional quality, and are available at incredibly competitive rates. Paralegals and lawyers can be hired short-term to cover urgent tasks, or long-term to work on large projects. 

Flex Trainee is a two-year social mobility scheme, structured around an in-house secondment to an organisation. They locate the best and brightest aspiring lawyers from historically under represented backgrounds, and embed them via one of three "routes" with forward-thinking legal teams as they accrue their Qualifying Work Experience. Flex Legal provides continuous support to trainees and organisations throughout each placement. 

Flex Legal was acquired by Mishcon de Reya in 2024 and will continue to operate entirely autonomously.
